Spanish Language Media 2010: A Panorama of Opportunities
November 11-13, 2010

The Center for Spanish Language Media at the University of North Texas, Denton TX invites scholarly papers and panel proposals from academics, students and professionals for presentation at Spanish Language Media 2010 – A Panorama of Opportunities Conference to be held in Denton, Texas, USA.
Papers may utilize any theoretical foundation and methodology as long as the topic relates to Spanish Language Media. Of particular interest are papers related to current trends in Spanish Language media, case studies, economic analysis, advertising, audience analysis, news, or other topics. Papers can discuss these topics in the context of the United States or any Spanish-speaking nation.
Paper Submission Requirements:
- Length: not to exceed 30 double-spaced pages, including references and tables using 8 ½ X 11” paper.
- Style: American Psychological Association (APA) is required.
- Abstract of no more than 250 words needed with each submission.
- Authorship: author’s name, author’s biography, institution address, phone number and e-mail to appear on the title page only.
- Papers must be received electronically by February 1, 2010. Please send papers as an attachment to spanishmedia@unt.edu
- All papers will be reviewed by a peer-review scholarly committee using a blind review system.
- All submissions must be in English.
Requirements for Panel Proposals:
- Cover page with the title of the panel.
- Abstract: consisting of not more than 250 words.
- The names, affiliations, and contact information of all panel members.
- Overview of the panel. This should describe the objectives of the session, specific topics/issues to be discussed by each panel member, and why the session is likely to make an important contribution to the Conference.
- If accepted, all panelists are expected to attend.
